Welcome,
and Flick Off
Welcome the Shinju Graphics, a small and growing graphics site owned by the Great Amanda. Here you will find things like layouts and avatars and eventually textures and wallpapers and other resources. You are currently viewing version 3: Untitled best viewed in Mozzila Firefox. You should get it, it's the best browser out there. That's right, I said it. In your face Maxthon, and in your shameful face Internet Explorer! Just kidding, but this is best viewed in Firefox. My apologies to all you Opera, Safari, Netscape users as well.

They all get a banner that I made for each of them.
NEW LINK EXCHANGE!! Big warm welcome to Natty from Divine Design! Pluggage!
Natty Natty Natty Natty Natty Natty Natty Natty Natty Natty Natty
There's also a new layout for you! Woot! The summer looks pretty active for Shinju!
And I'm still figuring out Wordpress, it's not hard, I'm just incredibly lazy.
See you soon!
Star Trek...

But just 20 NEW ICONS! About half of them are Star Trek ones but it's understandable. I love Star Trek. I'm actually going through the old episodes. William Shatner used to not be gross! WHOA! But Spock... *sigh* Spock... he remains amazing in the old and the new one. There, I said it. Spock is probably the biggest celebrity/character crush I've had since junior high. That's saying something.
I've also deleted some crapy old icons. I kept some, just kind of as a nostalgic sort of thing, to see how far I've come.
Oh, and Montréal is looking so amazing right now. My friend is there right now for some reason and she gets to see STEVIE WONDER LIVE! Not only that, but the concert is free, gratuit, gratis, however you say it, she's not paying. I want to be there right now soooo bad!
I'm on the prowl for a job right now, but thanks to Craigslist my search for Montreal placement is so much easier. I'm so excited! I told my mom and she didn't think I'm ready for such a big move but I still have time to make her change her mind. Responsibility sucks, just in case any of you were wondering.
But I want to document this a little more so I'm once again starting a blog! Hurray!
It's not done yet, but here's a preview: Paroxysm. I want to give a big thank you to Skyefairy for hosting me!
Not updating... yet again

[EDIT June 4th 2009]
HAD AN EPIPHANY! Not going to the UK anymore :(
I'm going to Montréal instead! I had a talk with my aunt and she kind of suggested that U of A was not my only option and that McGill was a better school in general. And if you're a Quebec resident you get a major discount! But to be considered a Quebec resident is that you need to have lived there a year. So, I'm taking my year off BUT it's super useful! Yay!
I'm kind of sad at saying goodbye to the UK but I'll have time later. No big deal.
[/EDIT]
This is becoming a blog more than a graphic site...
Anyways, I have some pretty HEAVY IMPORTANT BIG DEAL NEWS!!!
Ready?
Are you sure?
Because you have to be sure.
Ok?
Ok.
I'm moving.
To the U.K.
That's right. This year was a pretty horrible/soul sucking experience for me. My first year of university was not the fun and excitement I thought it would be and I ended with poor grades (C average if you must know, 2.3 GPA) and the only course I did well in was the one I thought I would do worst in, Biology. It was a big surprise when I read that B+ but still... I didn't like anything I took except bio and it made me realize how little I knew myself. So I decided that a fresh start was in order. I'm going to London to be a hobo.
Well, not really a hobo, I'm looking at apartments (flats) over there and I have found some pretty cool ones within my lowly price range. I would like to take a moment and appreciate the awesomeness that is craigslist. I'm hoping to move in September, slip away quietly before anyone can try to convince me of the incredible stupidity that is my plan.
I chose the UK for several reasons, one of them being The Beatles, and the other is that with my Canadian citizenship it's the easiest place to move to. That and Australia. But I wanted to cozyness of the London streets. For those of you that haven't been, everything is squished! It's awesome! So there, that was my big news.
Now onto things that are relevant to you!
