The History

Formerly known as "Angel[ic] Eyez Graphics" Shinju opened on January 20th 2008 and is ran by Amanda
Shinju : Means "pearl" in Japanese

Because I was born on February 25th 1990 (whoa that was a long time ago X3) my birthstone is the pearl. My Chinese Zodiac is the horse if you're interested and I'm a piecies. Finding myself unbeliavably annoyed with my former graphic site's name, "Angel[ic] Eyez" with a "z", I started fishing around for new names. Than I though, why not something that means a lot to me? You see somebody I hold very dear once gave me a pearl necklace and since I had been wearing it, I figured "Hey, why not change it to pearl?". But since I really like Pearl Vision, I thought "No, I can't call myself that... " so to make a not that long story short, I chose the Japanese version of the name.

About Shinju

The Layout

This little piece of inspiration happened sometime mid march 2009. I had been tinkering with the idea of a revamp for a long time, especially since I hadn't worked on Shinju in almost four months. The layout itself is really simple and exactly what I wanted from a revamp: flowing and uncluttered. Three brushes, a pen tool, and some text is basically all that this is.
